Built-up billboard (settings)
(*) This programm helps you to create a built-up billboard, combined from several lenticular sheets. Click Layout... to open this dialogue:
Check-on Splitting and enter the number of horizontal and vertical pieces.
(*) Select Flip/3D, this algorithm works more quickly:
(*) If you make Flip image, check-out Intensity correction. As a rule, the big flip poster has a vertical lens orientation, check-out Horizontal orientation:
(*) Select Bilinear interpolation and check-out Rotation canvas:
(*) Check-on Alignment marks , click Mark size... and check-on Show marks of the mechanical pitch:
The mechanical pitch marks help you to align the big interlaced image and lenticular sheet. Look at attentively, what is mechanical pitch and visual pitch:
Visual pitch depends on the viewing distance, but mechanical pitch does not depend on the viewing distance. You can use the mechanical marks to align the print and lenticular sheet at close distance.
It would be better if the paper size is greater the lenticular sheet, and you can see the mechanical marks and the edge of lenticular sheet at once. Correct alignment has this view:
(!) As you see, better to split the interlaced image along the lines of mechanical periods. Photoprojector Plus splits the interlaced image along the mechanical period lines.
As you see, you must to measure the visual and mechanical pitch and save this values in Lenticular data base: choose the necessary lenticular sheet, click Edit and enter Visual pitch and Mechanical pitch.
